Here is the Quick Tip video showing how I easily created this scene:

Love the dimension you get from intentionally not matching up the village scene!

And then there is all that sparkle - paired with this simple and clean design - it makes me so happy!

Joy Noel Ornaments

Good morning! Dropping by this morning with a card and Quick Tip video using this week's Stamp of the week at Unity Stamp Company - only available for a couple more days!

Here is the video I made to go with it - going for a frosty window frame effect:

I wanted it to look like a window when you wake up on a cold and frosty morning - peeking through it to look at the ornaments hanging inside!

I added a twist of ribbon from my stash to finish it off!

Sparkly Church Joy to the World Christmas Card Set

Good morning! Stopping by with some more Christmas cards - again in a design that is fairly easy to mass produce, and this time I'm using some Simon Says Stamp products from over the past year - some from last years Christmas release, and some actually from this past spring's Reason to Smile release!

I die cut the churches using Churches Wafer Dies - I thought they went so fun with that sentiment! Once they were die cut, I rubbed some Ranger Multi-Medium Matte Adhesive over them, then coated them with Tim Holtz Rock Candy Distress Glitter and set them aside to dry.

I used my MISTI to stamp the sentiments on watercolor paper - first the word "Joy" in clear Embossing Ink, then added the "to the world" in Black Versafine Pigment ink - THEN sprinkled on clear embossing powder and heat embossed. Then it was just a matter of adding the watercolor washes and splatters - here is a closer look at each of them:

Once the watercolor dried, I die cut them with a Stitched Rectangle Die, then used a dab of the Ranger Multi-Medium Matte Adhesive to adhere the churches - this adhesive was nice and sturdy, so they hold, but still have some freedom and movement. I then mounted them on a Fog Gray Card Base.

I am also linking this up with a couple challenges - first up, this week's Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes:

And then there is this week's Word Art Wednesday Challenge - Anything Goes:

There is also this awesome coupon at Simon Says Stamp if you have any shopping to do - these deals only come around once in a while, and this offer is good until Monday! :)
