Horse Love

Hello again! Okay...I think this is officially the last one I will be posting today, but then again - who knows? This is for the Simon Says Stamp and Show Color Challenge:
I had been dying to ink up my brand new Unity Stamp Phyllis Harris stamps! LOVE this image - don't you?!?!? I colored it up with Copics, after stamping slightly over the edges on a rectangle cut with my Lil' Inker's Stitched Rectangle Dies. I stamped the sentiment on there two, using MFT kraft colored ink.
Inked the edges with Antique Linen distress ink, added some jute twine and a PTI button, then matted it twice with some 6x6 My Mind's Eye papers.
Sigh...a girl and her horse - is there anything sweeter?

Kindness is good for the Soul

Hi again! Here is the second card for a couple different challenges that I managed to create on this restful and relaxing Sunday Afternoon:
I made this for two challenges - the first one is for the Little Tangles Challenge: Emboss It:

And the second one is the Moxie Fab Tuesday Trigger:

I used some PTI Rustic White cardstock for my cardbase, and debossed it with the wood grain impression plate. Added some inking around the edges with distress ink.
The sentiment is from my very first Neat and Tangled set, stamped with MFT ink on a Lil' Inker's Stitched Rectangle Die, and colored lightly with Copic markers.
Finished off with some jute twine and some enamel dots.

Confetti Congrats

Hello! I enjoyed some relaxing Sunday afternoon time in my Craft Room today, and managed to get a few challenge cards done that were due today! Here is the first one:
I made this for the April Avery Elle Challenge - here is the challenge photo:

I love the bright and happy feel to this photo, so I tried to capture that in my card. I used some Mister Huey's spray mists to create the background, added a few sequins, then stamped the frame, cut it out, embossed the sentiment with gold Zing embossing powder and attached to the background with foam adhesive.
Even though it's hard to see in the photo, I also added a strip of glittery white May Arts ribbon, then tied some jute twine above it before attaching the entire panel to my background paper from a 6x6 Glitz Design paper pack.
One card posted, at least 2 more to go!

And here is another one with that set:
On this one, I also used some Vanilla Bean Crinkle Ribbon and some Brown Jute Twine from My Craft Spot.
For the second card, I used Postage Stamps, and the coordinating metal dies, as well as some new Lemon Tart Trendy Twine from My Craft Spot.

I don't have anything new to share with the other sets, but here they are so you can see them:

My Craft Spot Spring Release - Day 5

Good morning! YAY! Today is the fifth and last day of sneak peeks for the new release at My Craft Spot! Tomorrow is the big release hop - make sure and come back tomorrow for that! You don't want to miss all the inspiration, and the prizes all along the way! For today, we played with the new stamp set called Feel Better Soon:
I used my Silhouette Cameo yet again, and this time cut out a sewing machine silhouette.
All my pattern paper is from a couple different Basic Grey 6x6 paper pads. I also tucked a doily behind the sewing machine, before attaching it with foam adhesive.
Finished off with some lace trim, that fabulous measuring tape ribbon from May Arts, and a bit of Blossom Trendy Twine (available HERE from My Craft Spot) tied with a black button.
Make sure and head over now to My Craft Spot to see the last of the sneak's by the Design Team, and have a chance to win your choice of 5 colors of Baker's Twine - maybe some of these new colors that are now available:

See you again tomorrow for the big reveal and new release hop!!! Have a wonderful day!!!

A 10 Minute Dash Birthday Card

Hello! I feel like I haven't had time to craft in forever! But, I had a few minutes today that I wanted to find something to get my mind off my upcoming (first) root canal this afternoon - so what better than an adrenalin rush via the 10 Minute Craft Dash (and I made it with 44 seconds to spare!)?
Here are the colors this time around:

I know I didn't get very much purple in there - but I did use purple sequins! My paper is by Crate Paper, and I used a Lil' Inkers die to cut the stitched rectange.
My stamp is from one of the two Avery Elle stamp sets that I currently own (since they are this weeks sponsor, it seemed only appropriate!) - and I added some bling to the center of the stamped hearts, as well as the center of the sequins. Added some purple jute twine, and rounded a couple of corners to finish it off.
Oh - and the root canal went well...I'm a bit sore, but glad to have it over!

Thanks for stopping by! I'll see you again in the morning for the final sneak peek of the new release at My Craft Spot - then Saturday morning for the release blog hop!

My Craft Spot Spring Release - Day 4

Good morning! Welcome to Day 4 of the My Craft Spot new release! We are now nearing the end of the week - and today is the second to the last set to share with you. Today's set is called Stampin' Around Spring, and it coordinates with the Tiny Doily Metal Dies:
For some reason I had a hard time getting a good picture of today's card! Don't know why, but this was the best I could do - sorry! I used my Silhouette Cameo and several papers from Basic Grey 6x6 paper pads to cut the house and the heart coming out of the chimney. I used the same papers to cut out my doily, then stamped the sentiment and center image with MFT ink.
Attached the house and heart with foam adhesive, tied on the doily with some jute twine (you can find it HERE at My Craft Spot), added a row of washi tape and some sequins and bling to finish it off.
Now that you've checked this out - I hope you'll head over to My Craft Spot to check out the rest of the Design Team samples, and have a chance to win today's giveaway - appropriately, the Tiny Doily Metal Dies!
And here is your tiny sneek for tomorrow - the last day of sneak peeks before the release hop on Saturday!
See you again tomorrow!

My Craft Spot Spring Release - Day 3

Good morning - and welcome to Day 3 of the new release at My Craft Spot! Hard to believe that we are almost half-way there! Today we got to play with the stamp set called Tickets, and the matching Tickets Metal Dies:
I can't believe all the fun possibilities with this set! I decided to use my card to just let this set shine on it's own, so I cut the tickets in 3 colors of Bazzil solid cardstock. The texture is a stamp included in this set, so I added that, the borders, and the sentiments.
My card base is Papertrey Ink Rustic Cream cardstock, that I inked with distress ink, and added the stitching - also included in this new stamp set.
I attached the tickets at an angle with foam adhesive, added some sequins, and finished off by wrapping jute twine (which you can find HERE at My Craft Spot) around the bottom and tying in a whimsical bow.
Now - I hope you'll head over to My Craft Spot to see the rest of the samples by the Design Team! Kimberly is giving away one of my favorite things today - a set of all 10 colors of jute twine! I LOVE this stuff:

And - to hold you until tomorrow, here is a tiny peek of what I have to share tomorrow!
See you then!!!

My Craft Spot Spring Release - Day 2

Good morning and welcome to Day 2 of the new release over at My Craft Spot! Today's stamp set that we are showing sneak peeks for is, I think, my favorite of the week! We are playing with Cute Critters today - and let me tell you, they are DARLING! Here is what I made for today:
This set is LOADED with adorable critter sentiments. For my card today, I went very nautical themed, and cut some crabs with my Silhouette Cameo. All my pattern paper is from a Fancy Pants 6x6 paper pad.
I used some distress ink on the edges of everything, and stamped my sentiment with MFT dye ink - LOVE the rich coverage!
Added some jute twine (find it HERE at My Craft Spot) and an October Afternoon button to complete the nautical theme, and attached the front panel with foam adhesive.
Now you are going to want to head over to My Craft Spot and see the rest of the samples by the Design Team! And...Kimberly is giving away this stamp set today:

Once again - I will look forward to seeing you tomorrow! Here is a peek at what tomorrow holds:
Have a great day - and see you again with more fun tomorrow!
